Rolex

This is a special Rolex reference 6305 Datejust circa 1955. This reference is a transition with the feel of a Bubbleback but is actually a Datejust. Aside from the strong stainless steel case with rounded case back, the dial on this watch is super special. It is an all original black dial with Datejust written in red and all other writing in gold gilt; very hard to find and highly collectible. The original gold tone dauphine hands round out this amazing dial. This beauty has a yellow gold engine turn bezel as well as a yellow gold crown. This is one of the best Datejusts out there!

Rolex

This is a lovely Rolex stainless steel and pink gold Oysterdate reference 6694 circa 1960. The case of this watch is stainless steel with a pink gold engine turn bezel. The silver dial with pink gold applied markers and pink gold hands is all original and in excellent condition. This watch is powered by a caliber 1215 manual wind movement.

Rolex

This is one of the less seen references in the Rolex Daytona line... the reference 6240. This reference came after the 6239 and has the oyster screw down chronograph pushers. The dial on this watch is a beauty with the small Daytona writing and T Swiss T at 6 oclock. The case on this watch is strong but has been polished in its lifetime. The black bezel is also strong with very little wear.

This is an early Rolex Daytona Cosmograph reference 6239 circa 1967. This watch has the well balanced BIG Daytona script original dial and original 300 bezel. The silver dial with 3 black registers is pristine with all lume plots intact. This watch is powered by the famous Caliber 722, 17 jewel manual wind movement. This early Rolex Daytona comes on a dated rivet oyster link Rolex bracelet with 71 endpieces.

This is a great example of a Rolex Cosmograph Paul Newman Daytona reference 6239 circa 1967. The dial of the watch is 100 percent original and in mint condition with very bright colors and no marks or scratches. The case is in excellent condition and has been gently polished. We are very proud to offer such a nice example.

This is a 1970s Day-Date Presidential with the wood burl dial. These models have not only have become quite collectible, but they are also highly attractive. This watch is in mint condition with no flaws on the dial and a lightly polished case. As seen in the photo the day window is in Spanish.

This an incredible example of a 1978 Rolex Submariner reference 1680 in 18k yellow gold. What makes this 1680 amazing is the fact that the dial has changed colors from the original blue to a bronze/brown tone. We have seen this before but many times the color change is uneven, but this example has stayed uniform and has an incredible look. The case is in excellent condition and has been gently polished.

Here we have a gorgeous Rolex Explorer II reference 1655 with original punch Rolex papers, circa 1979. The condition of this watch is exceptional. The all original Mark V dial is pristine with lovely creamy original lume that matches the original creamy lume on the hands. The case is nice as strong but has been polished in its lifetime. The watch comes on its original heavy oyster link Rolex bracelet. This is a great example of a classic Rolex Explorer II Reference 1655.

This is extremely rare Rolex Day-Date reference 1803 with original Rolex Wood Dial. This is an exceptionally rare and sought-after sequoia closed grain wood dial. It is signed Sigma at 6 oclock which is an indication that the hour markers are gold. The solid 18kt yellow gold case is nice and strong and comes on a Rolex solid 18kt yellow gold Presidential bracelet.

This is a very unusual and beautiful Rolex Datejust in stainless steel and 18kt yellow gold with a diamond Lapis Lazuli dial from 2002. The dial on this watch pops with its gorgeous blue tone and applied gold and diamond 6 and 9 markers. The dial is pristine with no cracks nor chips. The case is unpolished and has its original green Rolex sticker on the case back fully intact, as well as one side of the watch case still has part of the clear protective case sticker on it. This watch is powered by a caliber 3135 automatic movement. This watch comes fully complete with both inner and outer box's, papers and original green Rolex sticker on the back of the case.

This is a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Ref 16520 in New Old Stock Condition. This unworn example has the original caseback sticker and buckle tape intact. It includes it’s original outer, box, inner box, booklets, hang tags, additional links (were removed at time of purchase) and guarantee certificate dated March 1995 from Rolex New York. It also includes a card from Rolex explaining that this was delivered as an accommodation to a Rolex employee. Powered by the iconic Zenith cal 4030, this would make an amazing addition to any collection.

This is a minty full set, two-tone Rolex Submariner Date reference 16613 from 2005. This watch is all original with a gorgeous blue dial and luminous hour markers. The condition of this piece is spectacular. The case is unpolished and still retains its original green Rolex sticker on the case back. This beauty is powered by an automatic caliber 3135 movement. Everything is original on this watch and it comes with both inner and outer Rolex box's, hang tags, punch papers, booklets and calendar card.

Buckley dial Rolex Datejust's have become quite collectible and popular these days. Here is another fabulous Rolex Datejust with a gorgeous grey Buckley dial. The dial is all original and in excellent condition. The large black roman numbers contrast beautifully to the black hands. The case on this watch is strong and has a fluted stainless steel bezel. This watch dates circa 1987.

Being offered for sale here is another amazing and very rare Rolex stainless Steel over sized precision wristwatch. Firstly, the size of this case for a precision Rolex in this time period is very very rare. The condition is immaculate. We do not believe this stepped case with horn/tear lugs has ever been polished. Secondly, the original dial on this piece is out of this world! This mint salmon dial with amazing Arabic luminescent numbers and 60 seconds around the dial is a very very rare variation. The watch comes on an original black lizard Rolex strap with original Rolex stainless steel buckle. Just an amazing watch overall.

This Rolex stainless steel Datejust Ref. 1603 circa 1977 has the well know "Ghost Dial". This pale grey pie pan dial with white writing is all original with original lume plots all intact. There is some aging near 8 oclock that does not take away from the beauty of this dial. This wonderful Datejust is powered by a caliber 1570 26 jewel movement. This Datejust comes on a later Rolex stainless steel Jubilee bracelet.

This is a gorgeous Rolex Datejust Ref 16013 in stainless steel and 18kt yellow gold circa 1986. The dial on this watch is outstanding. It is called a Boiler Gauge dial which is a midnight blue/black with applied gold Arabic numbers, gold gilt writing and with a seconds track inside the numbers verses on the outer edge. The watch is powered by a caliber 3035 automatic movement that has both hack & quick set features. This beauty comes on its original two tone Rolex Jubilee bracelet and original Rolex punch papers.

We here at Matthew Bain Inc. just love Bubblebacks! They are where it all began for Rolex and automatic movements. We love to find gorgeous 1940's Bubblebacks with original roman dials like this one. These types of dials in original condition are hard to come by these days. The hands on this watch have been relumed many years ago and have a great vintage look. The case is crisp for a watch of this age.

This is a gorgeous Rolex Red Submariner Date Reference 1680 from 1970. The original dial has nice and creamy lume and no scratches nor marks on the dial. The dial is pristine. The hands are original to the watch with original lume that has aged a bit darker than the dial. The case is nice and strong and comes on a heavy oyster link Rolex bracelet with flip lock clasp.

This is a very nice Rolex no Date Submariner Ref. 14060M from 2008. This was the last of the 14060 models which features the inscription bezel and the additional text on the dial reading 'Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified'. This watch also has the updated caliber 3130 automatic movement. The watch is all original and in tip top shape.

Rolex two-tone Oyster Quartz reference 17013 circa 1984. What makes this watch special is the white Buckley dial with black roman numbers and matching black hands. The dial is all original but does have some normal aging on it. The case of this watch is super strong and the yellow gold fluted bezel is crisp. The watch comes on its original two tone Oysterquartz jubilee bracelet. This beauty is powered by a caliber 5035 quartz movement.

This is an incredible vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual Ladies 18kt Yellow Gold wristwatch with an all original doubled signed dial. The original textured dial is signed Serpico Y Laino as well as Rolex. The condition of the textured or waffle dial is excellent with applied gold coffin markers and sword hands. The vintage beauty of this watch is outstanding. The original folded link jubilee bracelet is outstanding, nearly no stretch at all. The watch is powered by a Caliber 1130 automatic movement. This is a very very well preserved vintage ladies Rolex.

This is a fantastic Rolex Two-Tone Datejust reference 1601 circa 1972. The case on this watch is super strong and we believe it to be unpolished. The two-tone oyster rivet bracelet has no stretch at all. The original silver dial with applied gold /black markers is mint. The overall condition of this piece is immaculate. This is a lovely Rolex 18kt yellow gold Day-Date reference 1803 circa 1966. The original champagne dial is in excellent condition. The case of this watch is strong as well. This original 1803 comes on its original 18kt yellow gold presidential bracelet.

This is a minty and unpolished Rolex 18kt yellow gold Day-Date Reference 18038 circa 1978. The overall condition of this vintage watch is impeccable! The solid 18kt yellow gold case is unpolished and the champagne tuxedo dial is pristine. The tuxedo dial has perfectly intact original lume plots. The fluted bezel is sharp as a tack. This beauty is powered by a caliber 3055 automatic movement.

This is a very well preserved Rolex stainless steel Bubbleback from the 1940's. The elegant silver dial with applied slash markers is all original. The stainless steel case with smooth bezel is in top notch condition. The Bubbleback was the first automatic watch Rolex made. Great affordable vintage Rolex.

This is a well preserved Rolex Explorer I reference 14270, A serial number circa 1999. We believe this watch to be unpolished as it retains its original green Rolex sticker on the back of the case. The black 'Swiss Only' dial with Arabic 3,6,9 is in excellent pristine condition. This automatic watch comes with its original papers dated 1999.

This is a wonderful two-tone Rolex GMT Master Reference 16753 circa 1980. The original black dial with gold gilt writing is pristine. The lume on the dial as well as the hands is all original. We believe the watch to be unpolished as the case is super strong and does not show signs of polishing. This watch has a quick set date and an acrylic crystal. The two-tone oyster bracelet is nice and tight with barely any stretch.

This is a classic vintage Rolex Stainless Steel Airking from 1963. The silver dial is crisp and all original. The case is nice and strong but I do believe it has been polished in its lifetime. This watch comes on its original Rolex stainless steel rivet stretchy oyster bracelet, which is in very good condition. This is a simple and classic vintage stainless steel Rolex.

What we have here is a superb Rolex Rail Dial Sea-Dweller circa 1978. The dial on this watch is all original and in excellent condition. The lume on the dial and hands has a nice and creamy tone. The case is also nice and strong and in excellent condition. The watch comes on a Rolex heavy oyster bracelet stamped VC which dates it to 1978 as well.

This is an exquisite example of a Rolex Submariner No Date reference 5513 with an all original black shiny gilt dial AKA 'The Bart Simpson' Submariner. The original gold gilt dial is pristine with beautiful original creamy lume. The original lume on the hands match the dial lume as well. We believe this case to be unpolished but well worn. The watch comes on its original Rolex oyster rivet bracelet and is comes with its original papers.

This is a lovely vintage Rolex Date Reference 1500 in 18kt yellow gold circa 1970. The all original taupe dial with white writing is very pleasing to the eye. The case on this watch is strong with all hallmarks visible.

NOS Rolex Submariner Date aka The Kermit. This amazing watch still has the green case back sticker along with the case stickers. Some of the distinguishing features are the "FLAT 4 bezel" and the "F0" serial number making it one of the first Kermit’s ever made. Complete with box, papers, hangtags and booklets.

This a lovely Rolex stainless steel Airking with original black dial from 2006. The original black dial is pristine with all lume plots intact. The engine turn bezel highlights the beautiful dial. The piece is powered by an automatic caliber 3130 movement. The case of this watch has never been polished. The case back even retains its original green Rolex sticker. We are showing this watch on a red leather strap but we can put any color strap.

This is a fantastic vintage pink gold Rolex Oyster Perpetual Officially Certified Chronometre Ref 6085 from the 1950's. The solid pink gold semi-bubbleback screw down case with engine turn bezel is in excellent condition. The original black gilt dial has some aging but is still gorgeous and has a wonderful vintage feel. This fantastic pink gold vintage Rolex comes on a rose gold Jubliee Rolex bracelet.

This is a lovely Rolex 18kt yellow gold Date from the 1960's on an unusual Rolex solid gold mesh bracelet. The watch itself is great with an original silver dial with applied yellow gold markers. The dial is all original and does have a few small marks on it. The mesh bracelet on this watch really changes the whole look of the watch.

This is a beautiful pink gold automatic chronometer grade Rolex Bubbleback from the early 1940's. Bubblebacks were the first automatic watches Rolex made. The name comes from the fact that the back of the case is bubbled to fit the automatic movement inside. This watch has an elegant look with the smooth bezel and simple original dial. The dial is matte silver with applied small slash markers and a small subsidiary seconds register at 6 oclock. Bubbleback watches are the perfect size for a man or a woman. This watch being in pink gold is an added plus.

This is a gorgeous early Rolex Explorer I Ref. 1016 with a gilt dial. The black shiny dial is all original with gold gilt writing and original lume. The lume on the hands is also original but has more aging than the dial does. The case is nice and strong and has retained its shape. This watch is powered by a caliber 1570 automatic movement. Beautiful watch form 1966.

Rolex "King Midas" reference 4611, circa 1970's. This has a Rolex integrated white gold bracelet with concealed deployant clasp, beautiful lapis and diamond dial, and a sapphire crystal. The watch is all original.

This is an incredible and very rare Rolex gold plated Precision dress watch from the 1950's. The square case with highly stylized lugs is fantastic and has a unbelievable vintage look. Aside from the wonderful case, this watch has a killer very rare dial. The original textured dial has gold triangular markers imbedded into the dial and subsidiary seconds at 6 o'clock. The overall condition of the case and dial is excellent. This is a very special vintage Rolex watch.

This is a lovely solid 18kt yellow gold Rolex Day-Date Reference 1803 from 1973. What makes this watch special is its original "Buckley Dial". A Buckley Dial has nice large Roman numbers as you can see on this dial. It has a pleasing gold background with large black roman numbers. This watch is from the mid 1970's and looks great on a leather strap.

This is a beautiful example of a Rolex Sea-Dweller, Ref. 1665, from 1981. The original Mark IV dial on this watch is in excellent condition with pleasing lume markers and matching hands. The case on this piece is strong with the normal surface wear. The watch comes on a heavy Rolex oyster flip-lock bracelet with diver’s extension.

This watch is the highly sought after 1950's Rolex Reference 6075 Semi- Bubbleback, otherwise known as an Ovetone. The watch has a large 35mm diameter case with a nicely rounded case back to fit in the the early automatic movement. This watch is an Officially Certified Chronometer. The watch is two tone, having a stainless steel case with 18kt yellow gold engine turn bezel. The original aged dial has applied gold dagger numerals and a date aperture with a roulette date wheel. This is a fantastic vintage automatic Ovetone.

This is a lovely Rolex Metropolitan dress Watch. The case is round with an engine turn bezel. The silver tone dial is all original and does have some aging on it. The watch is powered by a caliber 454 manual wind movement. The case of this watch is strong and the Rolex markings are still visible on the back case. This watch comes on a Rolex lizard band with 14kt yellow gold Rolex buckle. This is a great dress watch for a man or woman.

This is a rare version of a Rolex automatic watch from the 1940s. There is a manual wind version of this watch which is called the Athlete, but this automatic form is quite rare. It has a cylinder style case with the same automatic movement as the Rolex bubble back. It has a beautiful original dial with applied Roman numerals. What makes this watch even more unique is the fact that is come with the original box, papers, timing certificate, and tons of documentation about the original owner who was a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army.
