Rolex Stainless Steel Datejust - Ref. 1600

Here we have a beautiful 1960's Rolex stainless steel Datejust reference 1600.  The Rolex Datejust Reference 1600 is best known for its rare smooth, flat polished bezel, which sets it apart from its more common sibling, the fluted-bezel reference 1601. This reference was produced from the late 1950s through the 1970s.  The watch we have here dates to 1964.  Aside from the smooth bezel which I love, the all original black dial with silver gilt writing I love even more.  The original black shiny dial has a great vintage look with door stop markers and Alpha  hands.  The watch comes on an rriginal stainless steel Rolex folded link Jubilee bracelet with a clasp code of 1970.
