Patek Philippe Calatrava Ref. 2481

This vintage Patek Philippe Calatrava is a  reference 2481 produced primarily in the 1950s and early 1960s.  It is highly sought after by collectors for its monumental wrist presence and distinct, elegant fluted lugs.  Introduced in 1950, a time when standard dress watches rarely exceeded 33mm, the Ref. 2481 earned the ultimate moniker: the "King Size" Jumbo.  At an impressive 37mm, it stands as one of the largest vintage dress wristwatches ever manufactured by the house of Patek Philippe, providing a commanding modern profile while maintaining strict vintage pedigree.  The beautifully contoured 37mm case of solid 18kt yellow gold boasts a subtly integrated concave bezel and Art-Deco fluted lugs.  The case on this watch is unpolished with  its distinct lines still intact and light patina on the gold.  The silvered opaline dial is pristine with a gorgeous raised enamel Patek Philippe Geneve  signature.
