Rolex Precision 'UFO' Ref. 9083

This watch being offered is referred to as the UFO because of its disc shaped case. The Reference 9083 was only offered in Great Britain and ran for only a few years in the mid 1950's. Aside from the disc shape of the case, the integrated bracelet was ahead of its time. You did not see many integrated bracelets on watches until later in the 60's and 70's. This watch is powered by a manual wind movement.  The original textured honeycomb  dial on this watch is in excellent condition  and the dauphine hands add to the look. This watch has classic mid-century lines that is still popular today
