This is an exceptional example of a Wittnauer/Longines Weems watch from the 1940's in stainless steel. The watch probably was never polished and the porcelain dial is perfect with no cracks. This is a real time capsule. The Weems model was designed for US Navy for timing celestial observations or any other operations which require time to the exact second.
