Rolex Yellow Gold Date with Ghost Dial Ref. 1500

This is a fantastic 14kt yellow gold Rolex Date with a "ghost" champagne dial from 1979. The dial on this watch is so very unusual. It is a champagne/bronze tone with white writing. The slash markers with all original lume plots are totally intact and add to the sleekness of the dial. The lume on the hands is all original as well. This is a reference 1500 which means it has a smooth bezel. I love it when these Rolex Dates have smooth bezels. It brings a totally different look than the fluted bezel one usually sees.
