Rolex Stainless Steel Oysterquartz Datejust Ref. 17000

Rolex introduced the Oysterquartz Datejust reference 17000 in 1977 and produced it into the 2000's. Aside from being a quartz watch by Rolex, the case design was a first as well. Its angular case design with integrated bracelet had not been seen before in a Rolex. The case on this watch has retained its angels over all these years and the bracelet does not have any stretch. The original silver dial is also in excellent condition with applied slash markers and lume dots present. This piece of Rolex history is the predecessor in case design of the new Rolex Landdweller.
