Rolex Pink Gold Bubbleback Ref. 3131

This is an exceptional Rolex 14kt pink  gold Bubbleback reference 3131 circa 1946.  The bubbleback is known as the first automatic watch Rolex made.  The example we have here in pink gold is exceptional for an 80 year old watch.  The solid pink gold case is sharp with its smooth bezel.  The caseback does show some wear  from being opened  but we have left the marks as not to polish the watch.   The dial on this watch is all original  with its silver background and gold Roman numerals.  I very much like the outer 60 seconds track which you do not always see. This vintage beauty comes on an original Rolex strap and gold plated Rolex tang buckle.
