Patek Philippe Very Rare Platinum Ref. 2488

The reference 2488 was made during the 1950's and it is believed roughly 500 pieces were produced, mostly in yellow gold. The watch we have here is in platinum which makes it extremely rare. The platinum case is strong and still retains deep hallmarks. The original silver dial features a beautiful original raised enamel Patek Philippe signature as well as raised enamel subsidiary seconds tracking. The hands are baton which match the simple stick and lapped hour markers. This rare Patek Philippe is powered by a manual wind caliber 10-200 movement featuring a gyromax balance. An Archive from Patek Philippe has been ordered and will accompany the watch.
