Patek Philippe Stainless Steel - Ref. 3579

This  is an incredibly rare and highly collectible example of the Patek Philippe Calatrava Reference 3579, produced for a remarkably short window between 1969 and 1974.  This reference defies traditional Patek dress watch conventions by trading precious metal for a sleek, industrial stainless steel build.  Boasting a striking cushion-shaped case, a stunning minimalist dial layout, and an ultra-thin manual-wind movement, this 3579 perfectly captures the avant-garde spirit of the early 1970s while retaining absolute timeless elegance.  The stainless steel case looks to be unpolished and in excellent condition with its striking vertical brushed finish across the top bezel, beautifully contrasted by high-polished bevels and case flanks.   The  original silver sunburst dial with applied black-accented baton hour markers and matching minimalist stick hands is pristine.  This beauty is powered by the ultra slim manual wind Caliber 23-300PM movement.  The watch comes with a new Patek Philippe strap, steel Patek tang buckle and Patek leather carrying case.
