Patek Philippe Calatrava Yellow Gold Ref. 2509

Here we have a classic Patek Philippe Calatrava. It is an 18kt yellow gold reference 2509 circa 1960. The reference 2509 was one of the first water-resistant Calatrava's made by Patek Philippe with its screw down case back instead of snap back case back. The yellow gold case on this watch is sharp and has retained its original form. The original gold tone dial has the raised enamel Patek Philippe signature and applied lapped hour markers. The broad dauphine hands are iconic to Patek. This lovely Calatrava watch is powered by a caliber 12-400 manual wind movement. An Archive from Patek Philippe is on order and will accompany the watch.
