Early Gilt Dial Rolex Explorer I Ref. 1016

This is an early gilt dial Rolex Explorer I reference 1016 circa 1965. The shiny gold gilt dial is all original and has wonderful creamy tone lume. The hands have been color matched to the dial and look like perfection. The case on this watch is super strong and retains its integrity. The watch has its original domed acrylic crystal and comes with its original rivet stretchy oyster bracelet with date code inside the clasp. This is a beautiful looking early gilt Rolex Explorer I.
