Matthew's Note
This is a great example of International Watch Company's Ingenieur SL model number 1832 from the 1970's. This is an automatic watch that was designed by the famous watch designer Gerald Genta. The watch is powered by IWC's caliber 8541ES which contains special amagnetic parts. The Ingenieur SL also has a special dust cover to protect the watch from magnetic activity The watch has a mint black dial and a tight integrated bracelet. The Ingenieur SL was not a good seller for IWC during the 1970's due to its large size. Therefore, the production number was very small and under 1000 pieces were ever made in all materials. Under today?s standards it is a perfect size watch.
