Waltham / Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Varian

In 1954, Waltham stopped manufacturing watches in the USA and partnered with Blancpain. This watch is one of those partnered watches. This is a very rare dive watch made by Blancpain but signed and retailed by Waltham in the US. This watch is identical to the early big case Blancpain 50 Fathoms. It has the very rare and  all original 3,6,9,12 black dial.  All the lume on the dial and hands is original This watch has an automatic  caliber 1361N 17 Jewel movement. The bezel is all original and in excellent condition.  Usually these bezels show signs of wear, which this one does not . This is a great collectible dive watch!  From the research we have conducted, there are only  a handful  of known examples of this timepiece.
