Vacheron Constantin Les Historiques Chronograph Ref. 47101

The Vacheron Constantin  Les Historiques Chronograph reference 47101 was introduced in 1989 and draws inspiration from the iconic 1940's VC Chronograph reference 4178. It is believed about 1250 pieces in yellow gold were produced.   The watch we have here is a fantastic 36mm in diameter cased chronograph with flared winged lugs. The stepped case features a see thru case back to view the lovely caliber 1140 manual wind movement.   The all original silver dial features a very well balanced dial design with 2 chronograph registers opposite each other at 3 and 9 and an outer tachymeter scale.  The watch comes on a brown Vacheron crocodile strap iweth its original solid yellow gold VC tang buckel.
