The Universal Geneve reference 10237 2 is a very rare and highly sought after vintage Universal Geneve. This model was made in a very limited production in 1956. This reference with its rounded corner square case with round dial and engine turn bezel has been nicknamed "Cioccolatone" by Italian collectors. The 3 body solid gold case was produced by the casemaker Jung & Cie. It houses a Universal Geneve automatic bumper caliber 138SS movement. This movement was introduced in 1948 and was one of UG's first automatic movements.
