This is an exceptional Universal Geneve Monodatic reference 100101, from the 1950's.  This reference is celebrated for its spectacular, sculpted lugs that curve gracefully on the wrist, giving the 35mm case a commanding yet elegant presence. The two- tone silver-white dial is beautifully balanced, featuring applied rose gold hour markers, a crisp square date window at 3 o’clock with a red and black roulette date wheel, and a classic recessed sub-seconds register at 6 o'clock.   This all original dial is in excellent condition.   Beneath the solid pink gold caseback beats the legendary in-house Caliber 138C "bumper" automatic movement. Known for its distinct, tactile winding sensation, this historically significant caliber runs beautifully, showcasing Universal Genève's mid-century mechanical mastery.
