Rolex Yellow Gold Datejust Ref. 6605

This watch is a real beauty!  It's a 1957 Rolex 18kt yellow gold Datejust reference 6605.  The matte original dial has a wonderful vintage look with its applied coffin markers and Dauphine hands.  I just love the black and red roulette date wheel.  That means the date alternates from red to back and back to red as the date wheel changes.  I love this feature on these early Datejusts.  The solid yellow gold case is in excellent condition with the hallmark behind the lug deep and crisp.  This wonderful watch is powered by a caliber 1065 automatic movement. A solid gold Rolex tang buckle accompanies this wonderful vintage Datejust.
