This is a nice and clean late production Rolex stainless steel Submariner reference 5513. The L serial number confirms the watch is from 1989. The stainless steel case on this watch is strong with beautiful bevels still present on the lugs. The all original black glossy dial is pristine with white gold surrounds. These late production 5513's with glossy dials are considered transitional models that bridge the gap between matte dial 5513's and the next Submariner reference 14060. This well preserved watch comes on a Rolex stainless steel 93150 heavy oyster link bracelet with flip lock clasp. These later Transitional models are highly sought after by collectors.
