Rare Oversized Audemars Piguet Ref. 2129

This is an incredible and extremely rare Audemars Piguet from the good old days. This reference 2129 has a large oversized case which has the nickname 'Chioccolatone' meaning big piece of chocolate in Italian. Aside from the rare oversized case, that this watch is in 18kt pink gold makes it even more rare. There are only a handful of these watches in pink gold known. The condition is also out of this world. The pink gold case is stepped and has a sexy curvy feel. The all original silvered dial is pristine with applied pink gold Arabic and triangular markers. This extremely rare beauty is fitted with the legendary VZSS movement. The base movement was made by Valjoux and then finished to extremely high standards by Audemars Piguet.
