Piaget Tiger Iron Dial Ref. 9040 G 1

This is a very rare ladies Piaget bracelet watch with a seldom see Tiger Iron Dial, from the 1970's.  We see Tiger Eye dials alot but hardly ever Tiger Iron Dials.   Tiger Iron is a composite stone which contains tiger eye, hematite and jasper.  The dial has a similar characteristic as tiger eye with its chatoyancy, cat's eye effect but also has bands of coloring which is not seen in normal tiger's eye.  The dial on this watch is exceptional with no hairlines nor cracks,  just beautiful coloring that looks different every time you look at it.  The solid 18kt yellow gold stepped case  and integrated bracelet is also in excellent condition and fully hallmarked throughout.  This beauty is powered by a manual wind movement.  This lovely and special watch will fit a 6 1/4 inch wrist.
