Patek Philippe Stainless Steel Calatrava - Ref. 96

Up for sale is an incredibly rare, investment-grade Patek Philippe Calatrava Reference 96 in stainless steel from 1938.  While the Ref. 96 defined the modern dress watch, only a small  fraction of production was cased in steel, making this one of the most historically significant and highly coveted vintage timepieces a collector can acquire.  The  silvered dial is in excellent condition with all its hard enamel  intact.  The stainless steel case is strong and has retained its sharp edges.  This wonderful and rare watch comes with an Archive from Patek Philippe.
