When Patek Philippe introduced the Reference 5960, they made one of the most brilliant horological moves in modern memory—uniting an in-house flyback chronograph with their iconic annual calendar mechanism. The Patek Philippe Reference 5960R-011 is a magnificent manifestation of this dual-complication masterpiece. Clad in a heavy, polished 18k rose gold case and showcasing a stark, clean opaline silver dial, this reference beautifully balances complex watchmaking art with an incredibly clean, legible face made for daily use.  Instead of traditional, cluttered sub-dials, the 5960 utilizes a singular, large co-axial mono counter at 6 o'clock. It seamlessly tracks both elapsed hours and minutes alongside a subtle day/night indicator, leaving the rest of the dial clean and spacious.  Positioned elegantly across a sweeping arc at the top of the dial are three individual apertures for the day, date, and month. The flyback mechanism allows the center chronograph hand to be instantly reset and restarted with a single push of the button while it is running.  Nestled right under the date display at 12 o'clock sits a discrete plus/minus gauge tracking the status of the automatic movements' power supply.  The Opaline Silver  dial with applied faceted rose gold hour markers is pristine and the rarest of all variations.   The solid rose gold case is in excellent condition with its clear sapphire case back to view the movement.  This watch comes with its original brown alligator strap and 18kt rose gold Calatrava cross deployant buckle.  This watch also comes with its original papers from Patek Philippe.  The 5960R-011 is widely considered the most classical and elegant execution of the reference.
