Matthew's Notes
This is a very rare Panerai made for the Italian navy in the 1950s. The watch was made by Rolex. The case and 17 jewel movement are signed by Rolex. It is a reference 6152-1. The non-locking Brevet crown is rare and sought-after. The case dial and movement are 100 original. The back of the watch is signed MM with a military issue number which is hard to find. Engraved between the lugs at the 6 are the numbers beginning 124XXX and at the 12 it is engraved Brevet 6152 1.
