Omega Seamaster Automatic Chronograph - Ref. 176.007

Up for sale is a stunning example of 1970s Swiss horological design: the Omega Seamaster Automatic Chronograph Ref. 176.007, affectionately known among collectors as the "Blue Jedi."  This timepiece perfectly captures the bold, "funky" design language of the era while offering incredible mechanical complexity. The watch features a gorgeous silver sunburst dial beautifully contrasted by electric blue accents on the chronograph hands and sub-dials.  At its heart beats the legendary Omega Caliber 1040—Omega's very first automatic chronograph movement. Derived from the Lemania 1340, it is famous for its unique central "airplane" chronograph minute counter, which makes tracking elapsed time incredibly intuitive compared to traditional sub-dials.   The condition of this watch is incredible.  Dial is pristine and the case unpolished.  Original crystal in excellent condition as well.
