Omega Seamaster Melbourne Olympics XVI

This is a great example of a Omega Seamaster XVI. It was a commemorative series released for the 1956 Melbourne Olympics. and was also Omega’s 25 anniversary as the official timepiece of the Olympics Games. This is the Omega Seamaster reference 2850SC in 18k rose gold it has the hallmark of the Olympic cross on the back of the case, beautiful faceted dog leg lugs, and is is excellent condition. The beautiful original porcelain dial has raised faceted markers, Roman numeral representing the 16th Olympics, and Dauphine hands. The movement is an automatic caliber 471.
