Movado Super Sub Sea Chronograph - Ref. 206-705-504

This is a rare vintage Movado Super Sub Sea Chronograph reference 206-705-504 dating back to the late 1960s to early 1970s. Produced during a historic collaborative era between Movado and Zenith, this highly collectible "reverse-panda" dive chronograph is known for its distinct retro aesthetic and robust tool-watch specifications.   The most striking feature is its vibrant orange internal rotating dive bezel, which is controlled by the extra crown located at the 10 o'clock position on the case.  The original dial with vibrant orange Tachymeter scale pops and the orange lollypop chrono hand pops as well.   Inside the 40mm–41mm stainless steel case sits a high-grade, manually wound Zenith Caliber 146-HP column-wheel chronograph movement. This was the very last manual-wind chronograph movement used by the Zenith-Movado group right before they introduced the famous automatic El Primero. This model has become quite rare and hard to find in this type of condition.
