Longines Chronograph Ref. 6592-5 Circa 1960's

This is an exceptional Longines stainless steel chronograph reference 6592-5 from the 1960's. The original dial on this watch with its blue steel hands is incredible. The metal dial has an outer telemeter and tachometer scale in blue and black and nice large Arabic numbers. The 2 registers on the dial represent continuous seconds and 30 minute chronograph register. The case on this watch is super strong with the facets on the lugs still intact and a screw back case. The micro pushers for the chronograph add to the elegance of this watch. This Longines is powered by the well sought after 30CH 17 jewel manual wind movement. This is a beautiful example of a micro pusher Longines chronograph from the 1960's.
