Girard Perregaux Ref. 9034 GF

This is a very unusual stainless steel wristwatch from Girard Perregaux, the reference 9034, circa 1973. These unusual watches were made between 1967 and 1976. This reference was fitted with many different variations of the dial. All the dials and hands were hand painted thus all have a bit of variation to them. The dial we have here is super rare. We have had the 'Dot Dials and the Casino Dials" of this reference, but this is the first one of its kind we have had with this beautiful blue. The vertically sanded silver dial has hand painted blue crescents ranging in size with blue and silver striped hand painted matching hands. The stainless steel case looks to be unpolished and has the reference 9034 GF clearly marked on the case back. The watch is fitted with a period correct stainless steel bracelet.
