Fairchild LED for Tiffany & CO.

Here at Matthew Bain Inc. we don't just love Patek Philippe's and Rolex. We love all brands and types of watches as long as they have  an interesting aspect to them.  The watch we have here is one of those pieces.  This is a Fairchild LED wrist watch retailed by Tiffany & Co.  In the 1970's, Fairchild watchmakers were commissioned by Tiffany & Co. to produce an LED watch in solid gold.  This watch  is the product of this collaboration. It is a solid 14kt yellow gold tank watch with a sleek dark LED display with Tiffany and Co. printed on the screen.  The watch displays the time and  date as well as  seconds in original LED slender numerals.  It has a crisp and clean display. The solid yellow gold case is a classic tank design in excellent condition.  I don't think this case has ever been polished.   This is the first time I have come across this unique beauty!
