Eberhard & Co Contograf Circa 1965

This is the well known and super sought after Eberhardt & Co Contograf from the mid 1960's. This watch is all original and in very good condition . The original black dial with panda style sub dials is in excellent condition. A Calibre 310.82 manual-winding chronograph movement built by Eberhard powers all functions, including subsidiary seconds register, 30-minute counter register, central chrono seconds, and date. The red accents on this watch are special. The date wheel is what you call a roulette wheel, which alternates red to black. The unique red line and “50” print marking the 50 km/hour mark on the tachymetric scale — the standard speed limit in many European cities then and now- is something you do not see. The original bezel has faded nicely and the original crown is marked with an E. Great Great Watch!
