Early Tudor Oyster Prince Gilt Dial

This is just simply a fantastic watch. It is an early Two Tone Tudor Oyster Prince with a beautiful, all original black gilt dial. The lovely gilt text with closed minute track is complimented by golden hour marks and arabic numbers as well as the original matching golden dauphine hands. The oyster momoblocco case houses and the automatic "butterfly" rotor movement. These watches were issued to the British North Greenland Expedition of 1952-1954. Most of the early 50’s Tudor dials age very poor so to find one in this condition is extremely rare.
