Early Patek Philippe Hinged Case Dress Watch

This is an exceptionally rare early Patek Philippe Art Deco Square Cased Tank style wristwatch from 1924.  Made during the transitional era when pocket watches were adapting into wristwatches, this pre-reference piece represents some of the earliest  square case profiles ever produced by Patek Philippe. The solid 18kt yellow gold case has a hinged case back which functions as it should even after 100+ years. The original silver brushed dial shows even aging as it should for a watch of this age.  The blue steel spade hands pop against the silvered backdrop of the dial.  This early beauty is powered by a manual wind numbered movement by Patek Philippe.  The watch comes on a Patek Philippe strap with its original solid gold  squared off early Patek  Philippe tang buckle.  An Archive from Patek Philippe with accompany this piece of horological history.
