Cartier Tank Cintree Dual Time Zone

In 1921, Cartier introduced the Tank Cintree, an elongated and curved version of the Tank Louis.  In 1927, Cartier created a pocket watch displaying multiple time zones.  The 1990's watch we have here is a combination of the above.  A Tank Cintree displaying two time zones on the dial.  This exceptional and sought after watch runs on two movements powered by a manual wind ETA 2412 movement.  The layout of the dial is pure Cartier elegance with the upper half of the dial displaying the first time zone in classic tank configuration with large black Roman numerals.  The lower half of the dial, the second time zone, has painted black slash markers alternating with the black Roman.   The words Cartier and Paris both are elegantly shown on the dial. Each time zone has its own faceted sapphire crown.  The condition of this piece is exceptional.  The solid yellow gold case has its original two tone finish and all hallmarks deep and crisp.  The original matte dial is pristine with no flaws.   The original crystal does have a small chip towards the bottom but we have left it as its original and very minor.  This highly collectible watch comes with its original Cartier box.
