Cartier Stainless Steel Ladies Basculante Ref. 2386

This is a Cartier ladies vintage Tank Basculante reference 2386 originally introduced in the 1990's and now discontinued.   This model is known for its distinctive reversible case, similar to Jaeger LeCoultre's Reverso.  The Basculante has an inner case that can be flipped over to show its dial or reversed back to show its solid caseback.  The Basculante uses a swinging flip mechanism, not a sliding track like a Reverso.   Usually I see these watches in full size, not the ladies size which we have here.  This watch is powered by a quartz movement.  The watch comes on a Cartier strap and its original Cartier tang buckle.
