Cartier Platinum Tank Louis- Ref. 1601 1

This is a rare platinum version of Cartier's iconic Tank Louis .  It is  a reference 1601 1 made near  the year 2000.   This reference is known for its ultra slim profile, its use of platinum and its Art Deco style guilloche dial.  The condition of this piece is exceptional.  The guilloche dial is pristine and the case looks to be unpolished with all its hallmarks clear and crisp.  The ultra slim case houses a manual wind Caliber 21 movement.   The blue steel hands pop  against the dial and compliment the blue sapphire crown.  The watch has been fitted with a blue crocodile strap to fit its original 18kt white gold Cartier deployant buckle.
