Cartier CPCP Tank a' Vis "Wandering Hours" in Yellow Gold

This is a Cartier Paris Tank a' Vis  "Wandering Hours" limited edition “Collection Priveé Cartier Paris” (CPCP) circa 2000. The CPCP collection  which ran for 10 years between 1998 and 2008 produced limited edition pieces respecting the past in a more modern manner.  The Tank Etanche was the inspiration for the Tank a' Vis which we have here in 18kt yellow gold. The watch  has a gorgeous silver guilloche dial that displays a jump hour time and date window. The curved aperture at 12 o'clock displays the 'wandering hours' disc or jump hour as some call it  and the minutes are displayed in the more traditional manner with a center hand.  The curved aperture at 6 o'clock displays the date.  The solid gold case is in excellent condition with a sapphire crystal back to view the caliber 9902MC movement.  This limited edition watch comes on a new Cartier strap with its Cartier deployant buckle.
