Breitling Cosmonaute Gold Filled Ref. 809

This is an extremely well  preserved stainless steel and gold filled Breitling Cosmonaute chronograph, circa 1966.  The main difference between the Navitimer and Cosmonaute is the presence of the 24-hour dial, indicating time over 24 hours rather than 12.  The case on this watch looks to be unpolished.   The facets on the lugs are clearly visible as well as  the hallmarks on the case back.  The original black dial is superb.  All original lume on the dial and the hands as well as gorgeous gold gilt writing make this  highly collectible .  The Twin Jet logo really stands out and shines on this one.  A caliber 7736 manual wind movement powers this exceptional watch.
