Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Milspec 1

The Blancpain Fifty Fathoms MILSPEC 1 was introduced in 1957 and made to exacting military specifications.   The watch we have here is from the 1960's,  all original and highly collectible.  The original black dial has gorgeous original lume on the hands and dial,  as well as a moisture indicator located at the 6 o'clock position. The dial also features the words 'Rotomatic Incabloc' above the moisture indicator.  Incabloc is a type of shock protection for the movement which was developed in the 1940's.  Not all models carry these words on the dial, but this one does.  This was a significant innovation in watchmaking  at the time. The waterproof stainless steel case is in strong  condition with all hallmarks and writing intact.  The wide acrylic bezel is in excellent condition for a watch of this age; no cracks.
