This is an incredible A-Series Audemars Piguet Royal Oak "Jumbo" Ref. 5402 in solid 18 kt yellow gold, circa the 1972. Audemars Piguet introduced the Royal Oak in 1972, it was an instant classic. The Gerald Genta design was the first sport watch of its kind. This is an early A series with a 250 case number and AP Logo at 6 o'clock. The AP logo at 6 o'clock characteristic is exclusive to the "A" series which have become highly collectible. This watch is in exceptional condition and features its original integrated bracelet all fully hallmarked. This excellent watch comes with its original inner and outer box as well as open Audemars Piguet Certificate or Origin and Guarantee Booklet.
