Heuer Solunagraph Retailed by Orvis Ref. 2446 SF

This is the highly desirable Heuer Solunagraph model retailed by Orvis. This watch was designed for yachtsman and has  tide indicator registers.  These watches were produced as a tool watches in the early 1970's for the Orvis company.  Featuring the known Valjoux 721/723 manual wind movement, and  designed to track high and low tides.  These chronograph watches used the 2446C Autavia style case featuring the compressor style case.  This first execution of the Orvis Solunagraph has  polished steel hands, no wave lines in the tide indicators and the bezel that has minutes and hours.  The condition of it piece is outstanding and all original.
