In honor of FIFA's World Cup we are featuring Omega's most collectible Seamaster Chronograph Soccer Timer wristwatch. It is Omega's reference 149.014 and was produced in the late 1960s. It is powered by Omega's famous manual wind caliber 861 which was the same movement as in the Omega Speedmaster. They made several different versions of this Omega soccer timer, but this particular one is the most collectible and attractive due to its colorful roulette wheel style inner rotating 24 hour bezel. The other soccer timers do not have this detail and the inner bezels are normally black. The Roulette wheel version is extremely rare, and I have only seen approximately 10 examples over the past 20 years. I have seen these watches trade from $3500 to $7500 depending upon the condition. The Omega Soccer Timer is another rare watch to add to the collection.
