Shipping, Returns & Refund Policy

Shipping Policy

All shipments are sent fully insured, with direct adult signature required, via FedEx or UPS- Overnight or International Priority. If packages are lost or stolen, a refund will be issued only after the approval of the insurance claim by our insurance vendor. 

All orders are shipped FOB Coral Gables, FL, USA. Since import taxes and/or duties that your government might impose on products shipped from the United States may apply, you (the customer), are solely responsible for shipping charges, taxes, duties, and any other costs related to shipping once goods arrive in your country.

No items shall be sent prior to clearance of funds. At our discretion, check or money order payments may require additional time to clear or bank.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Credit Card Purchases

We can only ship your order to addresses verifiable by your issuing credit card bank. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number which are the same as your credit card issuer has on file for you. Incorrect information will delay the processing of your order. Credit card payments will be processed for the full amount before any labor is performed on used and vintage items.

Damaged Packages

If your package is damaged, you MUST contact us within 2 days from delivery via e-mail at info@matthewbaininc.com. If you do not contact within 2 days from delivery via e-mail at info@matthewbaininc.com any claim for damage to your watch is waived and released.

Please be aware that the watches sold here are susceptible to damage during transit. We take great care to prevent damage from occurring and pack shipments so that they will arrive safely. Be sure to retain the original packing materials, original receipt and all merchandise tags for any item that you wish to return to us.

If an item arrives damaged, make certain you examine all boxes before acceptance. The delivering agent MUST note damage to any cartons on the release form or refuse acceptance. Notify us immediately so that we may work with you to arrange and expedite an insurance claim. Matthew Bain Inc. is not responsible for any denied shipping claims.

Restrictions
Due to restrictions, certain materials, and brands cannot be shipped outside of the United States. Please call us to find out if the item(s) you are interested in can be shipped internationally. We can ship to any locations that use a US Postal ZIP Code such as US Military addresses, Puerto Rico or the Virgin Islands, etc.

Return Shipping

You may coordinate with us to prepare a pre-printed shipping label with appropriate shipping insurance, at your cost. We are not responsible for the costs of shipping.

If you do not use our pre-printed shipping label for returns, you accept the liability if the package does not arrive safely. We strongly encourage you to use our printed labels, but if you do not, we strongly encourage you to use a trackable shipping service.

Returns & Refund Policy

Following our 2-day return policy, all sales are final. 

All second-hand and vintage watches sold come with a 2-day return policy. We do not accept returns of items sold 'as-new'.  Returns must be requested no later than (2) calendar days after receipt of item.  Beyond the 2-day return policy inspection period, and our One Year In-House Warranty (see below and review Terms & Conditions), we will not warrant nor guarantee the performance or accuracy of any watches we sell. Returned watches must be in identical condition as when received. Refunds will be initiated within 5-days of receipt, and careful inspection of item has passed. Final inspection determination to be made solely by Matthew Bain Inc. in its sole and absolute discretion. Refunds will include purchase price of the watch, excluding any shipping charges, and transaction fees.

Approved returns must be sent overnight or by priority international delivery, fully insured and paid for by the customer.


All watches have a One Year In-House Warranty on parts and labor excluding stem and crystal. This warranty is only valid with our in-house watchmakers, or channels we have provided with prior authorization, at our sole and absolute discretion. A watch that has been dropped, abused, or overwound is not covered under the warranty. Watches are sold as-is, and there is no guarantee of movement accuracy beyond the range of 60 seconds +/- per day, due to the nature of vintage and second-hand timepieces.
