Matthew's Note
This watch is an Omega Seamaster originally launched in 1970. It is nicknamed by collectors the “Anakin Skywalker.” It has a 44.5mm cushion shaped stainless steel case that is coated in tungsten to give a very hard and scratch resistant surface. The dial is black with light blue and white tachymetre tracks. There are three registers for the chronograph feature which are in black and red with light blue accents. This unusual timepiece comes on a stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp. It is powered by the Calibre 861 17 jewel “27 CHRO C12” movement used on the second generation “moon watches.” A unique feature about the way this watch is that the movement is suspended between two o-rings in a separate container within the case in order to provide for extra shock protection.
