Matthew's Note
This is a rare and gorgeous black dial Bovet Mono-Rattrapante Chronograph from the 1940's. The fly back feature full fills the same function as a split seconds chronograph but with only one chrono hand. The fly back chronograph and mono split second features work perfectly. The water proof stainless steel case is in excellent condition for a watch of this age. The inside case numbers match the lugs numbers. The manual wind movement is signed Rensie Watch Co as well as the inside of the case back. The oversized black lacquered dial is all original and still retains its original luminous on the numerals and hands. The dial is signed Bovet and the case and movement signed Rensie Watch Co.
