Matthew's Note
Powered by an automatic movement, this Cartier Vendome reference 17003 is a rarity for a 1970's Cartier as most were powered by manual wind movements. The nice and large 33mm round stepped case is a departure as well from most of the 1970's Cartiers which were rectangular in shape and more tank styles. The solid 18kt yellow gold case is in very nice condition. The iconic Cartier white enamel dial with black Roman numerals has crazing throughout which is commonly seen in these older Cartiers. This watch comes on a brown croco Cartier strap with Cartier solid yellow gold deployant buckle.
