The Patek Philippe Calatrava reference 3796 was launched in 1982 essentially replacing the original Calatrava, the reference 96 which came to market circa 1932. The reference 3796 has a similarly sized 30 mm case and came in many iterations just as the original 96 did. This 3796 we have here for sale is solid 18kt yellow gold with a Clous de Paris Hobnail bezel and stark white dial with Roman numerals. The delicate stick hands match the black painted Roman numerals and gives a sleek overall look to the dial. This wonderfully sized watch, good for a man or a woman is powered by a caliber 215 PS manual wind movement.
