Matthew's Note
According to the original vintage ad's for the Gyrodate, 'it is the first watch to tell the day and the date a whole month at a time". Simply put the Gyrodate has a unique bezel that works with an internal chapter ring as a calendar. This is actually a complicated complication done in a nice and simple manner. The watch we have here is in exceptional all original unpolished condition with its original GP crown. The original matte white dial is pristine with 'Gyrodate' written in a funky manner with the first 4 letters in forward italics and the last 4 letters in backwards italics. Such a cool little accent. The case is unpolished and the bezel crisp as well. This neat 1960's watch is powered by a GP caliber 41 Gyromatic 15 jewel movement.
