Matthew's Note
This is an exceptional 1950's jumbo Universal Geneve 18kt pink gold Tri-Compax. This early example of a UG Tri-Compax featuers a nice and large 37.5 mm diameter pink gold case. The condition of the case is exceptional with all hallmarks clearly visible. The original dial is as well in outstanding condition. The matte silver dial has applied pink gold hour markers and pink gold Dauphine hands. The 4 registers on the dial display moon phase, seconds, date and chronograph registers. Apertures also feature the month and day. For such a complicated watch, the dial has a wonderful clean feel. This wonderful watch is powered by a caliber 481 manual wind movement.
