Matthew's Note
This is a wonderful oversized 38mm cased Angelus Chronodato from the 1940's. The Chronodato is one of the earliest full calendar chronograph wristwatches which features a chronograph feature as well as a day, date and month apertures. The chrono has nice large registers at 3 and 9 with the date feature on the outer track of the dial marked by a red tipped arrow. This model was made in steel , gold and gold-plated with steel being the most desirable. The condition of the case is extra special with the facets on the lugs still present. The dial is all original with lovely large Arabic numerals. This watch is hard to find in such nice condition and we are excited to offer it here on Matthew Bain Inc.
